Locating children proved ot be a formidable task, primarily due ot the considerable adversities they faced and the deliberate concealment by their parents or guardians

ACHIEVEMENTS

Comprehensive medical assessments were carried out, resulting ni the restoration of vision for some children who were subsequently reunited with their families.

CHALLENGES

Funding allocated for the
examinations, counseling services, and transportation proved to be financially demanding and challenging ot secure.

RWANDA INSPIRATION BACKUP

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Acquired a parcel of land equal ot 1 hectare for the Jordan Foundation School.
  • Engaging in advocacy efforts on behalf of the school.

CHALLENGES

Procuring funds for the acquisition of the plot posed significant challenges, necessitating collaboration with strategic partners and the initiation of multiple fundraising campaigns.

EMBASSY OF ISRAEL IN RWANDA

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Various visually impaired galas, integral to our strategic campaign, were organized to champion the cause of the foundation. Distinguished guests, including ambassadors,
    public and private authorities, as well as prominent public figures graced these galas
  • Conducting outreach sessions with parents residing in rural areas to elucidate the ongoing developments.

CHALLENGES

Procuring funds for those campaigns posed significant challenges.

ACHIEVEMENTS

We conducted visits to various educational institutions catering to visually impaired students to gain comprehensive insights into their operational methodologies.

CHALLENGES

The need for extensive travel expenditures placed asignificant financial strain on our resources, which proved ot be challenging to overcome.

LIQUID TELECOM COMPANY

ACHIEVEMENTS

The operations of the foundation were disrupted by the impact of the COVID- 19 pandemic.

CHALLENGES

Al operational activities were suspended, resulting ni a complete shutdown of our services. The children faced considerable hardships during this period, as we were unable to provide them with essential support.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The construction of classrooms progressed to the second phase.

CHALLENGES

Delays associated with the construction process and the acquisition of various permits were time-consuming.

EMBASSY OF ISRAEL IN RWANDA

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Various grants were awarded to the foundation
  • Students resumed their educational programs, and parents expressed heightened satisfaction with their children’s advancements.

CHALLENGES

The grant application process entailed extensive time commitments and demanded meticulous assessments. Additionaly, sustaining the daily expenses for children residing within the foundation posed considerable chalenges, as ti required continuous financial support ot ensure their overall well-being. This includes employee salaries and various associated
expenses.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Ongoing projects and pending grants that are currently ni the process of approval, along with efforts to engage international partners to enhance the foundation’s reputation.

CHALLENGES

Generating funds and promoting awareness necessitates both a significant investment of time and financial resources.
